Stress
I cried today, while talking to Mom through the phone. Regarding about my studies.
Where does the stress come from?
Indirectly from her?
She keep asking me to check out universities from Australia.
She wanted me to go overseas
Graduate with an oversea cert
Get a higher post in work
Earn higher
Get a better life...
Directly from myself?
I want to get good results
I cannot fail
If I fail, it means I'm dumping money into the sea
Even if Mummy said that it's alright as long as I tried my best
But I still can't go through myself
I don't allow myself to fail...
So, where does it really come from?
In the end, Mummy asked me not to stress myself too much

Guangzhou + Non-human week + GACC
Alright, long time no update... So be prepared for a SUPER long entry this time!
5/3/2010-12/3/2010
Guangzhou trip
I went to Guangzhou for a week with BB, his mother and uncle. We departed on 5th March early in the morning at around 5am. I was kinda excited. It's my 2nd trip overseas. When we finally reached there, my first impression of Guangzhou was 'OMG, the streets looked really old... Did I come to the right place to travel?'. We traveled our way to our hotel and then have a walk around. So many stuff to buy for cosplay! WOOT! The streets really do look old but I got used to it on the first day. Blame it on my strong adapting ability. Anyways, BB's mom and uncle left to HK on the 2nd day, leaving us both in Guangzhou. We went to a lot of places like Guangzhou Zoo, OneLink Wholesale center, and most interesting and exciting of all, DONGMAN CITY!!
Guangzhou Zoo was huge. We saw a lot of wild animals that we can't see in Malaysia. I fell in love with the big wolf there. XD Thers are lions, tigers, pumas, and lots of jaguars pacing around. I love the lions! No, doesn't remind me of Loki, but Nobuto's hair instead. XD... Nah, just kidding. We finally got to see China's most precious possession, the panda! It looked so cute with it's black and white coat. The black bear cubs there were chasing around like little kids playing in the playground. There were deers, farm animals like goats, cows, pigs. There's llama's munching away some leaves. They look like giant rabbits to me. There's a small kangaroo too! The zoo was really fun, despite the really cold weather and we're only wearing 1 layer of cloth. Oh, and the sweet potatoes there were really sweet! XD
We went to OneLink Wholesale center and there were a lot to see! Guess what, SUPER cheap too! There's a floor where they sell plushies, there were hair clips all over, there were gifts all over the places... Omg, I nearly go blind from excitedness. XD Bought an Anna Sui purse for Mom. Regret that I didn't bought one for myself, it's really nice. And now I'm hooked up to Anna Sui. Bought souvenirs there for my friends. And a jewelery hanger for me, sis and Mom. Saw that garden set for jewelery. Gah, I want it so bad! But I'll need a nice dresser to put them on. Planning on my future bedroom already? XD Bought Rayray's Meiko wig there too! And my Kaname's long blue wig~ I finally got my own wig!
DongMan City, a haven for all anime and manga lovers. We finally set our foot there, and BB's eyes literally lit up like fireworks when we arrived there. XD There's a lot to see. One piece, Naruto, Bleach, Vocaloid merchandise were everywhere. BB finally get to buy his One Piece wanted poster figurines. And it's original too! ^_^ Even bought his Natsu and Loki wig there. I on the other hand bought quite few stuff from there since I don't really collect figurines or any of that sorts. We custom made 2 T-shirts and mugs with Luffy and Robin's wanted poster on it. It came out really unexpectedly beautiful. ^^
Met a few pretty dogs there too! A golden retriever that knows how to pose in front of the camera and~~ 2 SAMOYEDS!!!! The samoyed is sssssooooo beautiful!! I wish I have one! >_<>

Non-human week
The very first Monday after I came back from my vacation, I had a debate session on Food Microbiology and a presentation on Human Nutrition. We lost terribly in the debate. The opposing team fired us until we're completely speechless. BB said that it depends on the topic that you're debating. Well, I had experience in Inti, even though I have really strong group members that time which helped a lot. But through this debate session, I made new friends with the opposing team. XD
Our Human Nutrition presentation got postponed to Thursday since it's almost times up. Somehow, it made HuanTing really disappointed and emo. I guess she prepared the slides for the whole day while the others went to watch Alice in Wonderland and in the end, the presentation got postponed. I'll get pissed too. But I didn't, because I'm really relieved that the debate was over.
Went for an industrial visit to Guinness Anchor Sdn. Bhd on Tuesday. The factory was huge. Our tour conductor was a funny guy as well. I can't hear him talking throughout the tour because of the noise of the machines running. I saw bottles and cartons and boxes everywhere. O_O When we finished the tour, we head back to the tavern and have a drink. Heineken extra cold is yummy! I even tried Guinness stout. But after drinking 1 and a half glass, I feel the world spinning... =A= I really suck in drinking... But I think it's because I gulped down a whole glass of Heineken... =A=... Well, half of the group went back to the university with red faces... Lol XD...
Had my Human Nutrition presentation on Thursday. My group was after HuanTing's group. I really don't like the lecturer. She's so arrogant. HuanTing's group was presenting a topic where they don't really understand much. They tried asking her but she won't help or even give an example about what the title's about. In the end when they present, she said they're giving the wrong information. Huh... Lousy attitude... New lecturer in the uni but act really stuck-up... Had our last AnaChem lab in the afternoon. Me and YiTing were supposed to measure the samples with HPLC in the special equipments room but we skipped and head back home. XD Lazy to wait for the results so we decided to take another group's result and modify it. YiTing headed back home while I went to Verina's place to do our FPP project- PiPaPu, Pisang Pandan Pudding. I think it might be Claudia's idea... Anyway, the pudding was really nice. I'm in charge of our booth poster so I pulled all-nighters on that damn thing.
Our FPP Food Fair was on Friday morning. I woke up early despite my serious lack of sleep and went to school to set up our booth. They like my poster XD. Anyway, it's really simple because all I'm thinking when I'm working on the poster is SLEEP... But they like it anyway... xD We set up our booth and the lecturers came. We presented our products while they taste our pudding. Ms. Rachel seems to like it really much, even reserve from us to eat later. Mr. V gave us the lowest mark among the class, I think it's because he mentioned he don't like pandan... = = If you don't like pandan, don't buy it then... We're not forcing you to buy it either... Verina and I kept eating those ugly looking cubes. XD I love the mochi with fruits that was made by Elly's group. The taste really goes well with the grape inside the cold mochi. I want to eat more... T^T...

GACC
After pulling all-nighters on our costume and weapons, we woke up early in the morning and head to Malacca for the most anticipated event for every cosplayers, GACC in MMU. It's my first and it's my last ever because they won't be organizing it anymore. We reached there and was dumbfounded when we found out that the venue for it was last year's changing room. Everyone looked like deflated balloons when they saw how small the venue is. XD But then, we went to have breakfast in a mamak restaurant, met up with some friends there and head back to MMU. We changed into our costumes. Rayray looked so sexy in Meiko's costume and wig. XD The guys were swooning~ XD I'm back as Nico Robin. BB went to help a friend to retrieve something and then came back as our captain Monkey D. Luffy. We walked around, letting photographers taking pictures of us and then, we bumped into the most adorable creature ever, Chibi Yuffie! She is so cute!!!! She looks just like Yuffie from FF7 except that she's the child version! XD Gah!! I wanna kidnap her home!! We took pictures with her. Next time if I have a kid, I'm letting her cosplaying as cute characters! >_<>
Day 2 was quite exciting for all of us. We had our free breakfast down at the hotel, went back and get ready for cosplay. I'm going as Chidori Kaname from FMP while BB, of course, as Sagara Sousuke. I helped him with his make-up, painting his face dark. XD Rex kept teasing him looking like an African... XD Somehow, his face doesn't go well with liquid foundation... BB, go do plastic surgery~ XD No, I'm not asking you to change your appearance into Nobuto, don't worry... Anyway~ we went there, took some time to get ready because of our hair. BB have to spike his wig up while I have to trim my front bangs. And then we're ready to go. Not much photo for the day because apparently not many people know about FMP. But some anime lovers do know who we are. We saw mini Yuffie again and took picture with her. Towards the end of the event, the director of the event gave a small speech, which really touched the hearts of everyone present there. It's just a pity that there won't be anymore GACC. I do hope there will be better ones coming up. I changed back into my casual clothes and we're off heading back to KL. Stopping by the bridge restaurant in A&W for dinner, which is a tradition of theirs. Got to know a guy from the same campus with me. But I don't remember his name, gomen~ (nor did I saw him around campus since I walked around a lot). There was a really big jam near Seremban I think because of accidents. When we finally reached KL and dropped Rex, Amy and Yuan off, BB got so tired that he actually fell asleep while driving. According to him, I panicked like he's going to die... =A=... Oi! My life is in your hands, Mr.! = = Anyway, we went to pick Rayray and his sons up and keep him awake by talking while driving back home. Everyone went straight to bed after setting Mylo and Shyshy's pen up. BB KO straightaway when he hit the bed. I have to revise my Food Microbiology Mid-term for the next day and end up sleeping at around 5am. Gah! PANDA EYES!!! T_____T
I think I did badly in my Food Microbiology Mid-term. Since I didn't have enough sleep for the week, I can't remember anything I read. I hope I really can do much more better during the finals.
Anyway, it was really really fun. I do feel lucky that I get to go to GACC. Oh, and by the way, Malacca is beautiful. Definitely planning to go Malacca for a trip next time. XD
